Job description

Operations Manager – Multi‑Location Hydraulic Service (PIRTEK)

Location: Metro Atlanta, GA (multi‑location) with primary location in Tyrone, GA
Schedule: Full‑time, salaried, 24/7 service operation with shared on‑call rotation
Hooper Services LLC and Titan Hydraulic Solutions LLC operate multiple PIRTEK service centers and mobile units providing on‑site hydraulic hose and industrial services. We are looking for a hands‑on experienced Operations Manager to lead technicians, drive day‑to‑day operations, and support our continued growth.
What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of Mobile Sales & Service Technicians and Shop Technicians across multiple locations.
  • Manage scheduling and dispatch to ensure quick response to customer emergencies and efficient use of technicians.
  • Maintain organized, safe, and compliant shops, trucks, and inventory.
  • Handle escalated customer issues, communicate clearly, and help build long‑term relationships.
  • Monitor key operational metrics (response times, revenue per truck, labor efficiency, overtime, repeat calls, etc.) and act on the results.
  • Coordinate fleet maintenance, inventory replenishment, and supplier orders.
  • Participate in an after‑hours and weekend on‑call rotation with the other Operations Manager and Dispatcher, including answering phones and coordinating response to urgent calls as part of our standard 24/7 service model.
What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of supervisory or management experience in a service, field operations, or technical environment.
  • Strong leadership and accountability: you set clear expectations, address performance issues, and develop your team.
  • High sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast‑paced, dispatch‑driven business.
  • Excellent organization and follow‑through with scheduling, dispatch, and inventory control.
  • Clear, professional communication with both customers and employees; able to de‑escalate tough situations.
  • Mechanically inclined; hydraulic/industrial experience is a plus but not required for a strong operations leader.
  • Proficient with basic computer tools (email, spreadsheets, service/dispatch software).
  • Willing and able to share in the after‑hours and weekend on‑call rotation as a standard part of this salaried role.
Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience (on‑call rotation is included in annual salary).
  • Eligibility for performance‑based quarterly bonuses tied to operational KPIs.
  • Training on PIRTEK products, systems, and processes.
  • Professional growth and advancement opportunities in a growing multi‑location operation.
  • Benefits package (health, PTO, holidays – can be detailed here).
How to Apply

Please submit your resume and a brief note describing your experience leading technicians or field operations teams, including:
  • Number of people you’ve managed
  • Type of service/industry
  • Experience with on‑call or 24/7 operations
