How you make a difference
The Area Operations Manager provides operational and administrative support to healthcare leadership teams while helping ensure effective delivery of healthcare services across assigned locations. This role leverages nursing and healthcare operations experience to support daily workflows, client reporting, compliance initiatives, and accreditation readiness. The position assists with policy and procedure implementation, staff training, and operational improvement efforts while supporting compliance with ACA, NCCHC, AAAHC, and applicable state standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily healthcare operations, client reporting, and client engagement activities to help achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Provide training and coaching to site staff on operational processes, patient care workflows, compliance requirements, and reporting practices.
  • Assist with procurement, inventory management, supply distribution, and other operational support functions.
  • Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of site policies, procedures, and organizational systems to meet operational and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor and promote compliance with accreditation standards, ethics guidelines, incident reporting processes, medication management practices, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a health services field preferred.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Registered Nurse license in state of employment preferred.

Experience

  • NCCHC and/or ACA knowledge and experience preferred.
  • At least two years’ experience in a healthcare leadership position preferred.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity as a Registered Nurse preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

  • BLS/CPR Certification.
