Roles & Responsibilities
  • Support End-to-End Delivery: Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs.
  • Accessible UI Development: Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces following established accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices.
  • Microservices Development: Build, enhance, and maintain microservices-based applications with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • GraphQL API Implementation: Develop and consume GraphQL APIs, assisting in schema design and ensuring efficient data querying and integration.
  • Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, QA teams, and other developers to implement features and resolve issues.
  • Code Development & Maintenance: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and participating in code reviews.
  • Debugging & Issue Resolution: Identify bugs, troubleshoot production issues, and implement fixes in a timely manner.
  • Continuous Learning & Improvement: Stay updated with new technologies and actively contribute to team knowledge sharing and incremental process improvements.

Required Qualifications
• 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Node.js, TypeScript, Vue.js and GraphQL APIs
  • Node.js Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Node.js to build and maintain backend services and APIs.
  • TypeScript Knowledge: Working knowledge of TypeScript with the ability to write type-safe and maintainable code.
  • Vue.js Experience: Experience developing front-end applications using Vue.js, including component-based architecture.
  • GraphQL Basics: Practical exposure to GraphQL, including consuming APIs and basic schema/resolver understanding.
  • Problem-Solving & Communication: Good analytical skills with the ability to work effectively within a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 68,422 to $131,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
