Service Manager - Dundas, ON Competitive Salary: $90,000-$95,000/year + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits Are you an experienced Service Manager or Fleet Manager with a strong background in the transportation industry. We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a team of skilled service technicians responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy-duty commercial vehicles in Dundas, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who understands service operations, customer relationships, technician development, and the importance of running an efficient and profitable service department.

Dealership experience is considered a strong asset. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily shop operations and ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Review, manage, and close work orders while ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Prepare repair estimates and bids, and provide timely oversight of quotes for repair and maintenance work. Review and evaluate work orders for accuracy, profitability, and completeness. Address and resolve customer and internal service concerns professionally and effectively.

Manage and evaluate department P&L, including capital expenditures and operating expenses. Work closely with other departments to promote communication, collaboration, and a strong team environment. Manage employee-related matters, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.

Identify technician training needs and coordinate training to ensure technicians remain current with evolving technology and industry practices. Promote a safe, professional, and productive shop environment. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications Minimum 5 years of management experience within the heavy construction, mining equipment, commercial vehicle, or related heavy-equipment industry. Previous Service Manager, Fleet Manager, Shop Manager, or similar leadership experience. Dealership experience is considered an asset.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn and utilize service management systems. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.

Strong understanding of service department operations, repair processes, and work-order management. Compensation & Benefits $90,000-$95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
