Overview

The Gallagher Global Brokerage Services Division (GGB-US) Operations Learning Lead is responsible for driving and supporting the learning and development needs of operational staff within the Client Service Organization (CSO). This role is part of the GGB Americas Operational Strategy Team. The Learning Lead will have direct impact on the service team’s ability to execute and implement the needed changes to deliver on its vision: to continuously improve the client experience through operational effectiveness and efficiency, delivered by an engaged team where high performers thrive.


How you'll make an impact

Concentrated on driving and supporting the learning and development needs of operational staff within an assigned branch, region or functional area.

Incumbent(s) will leverage full life cycle instructional design skills to build curriculum needed to deliver high-quality service training and will deliver learning and development strategies and solutions, as well as drive adoption and implement learning reinforcement tactics.

Key responsibilities further include:

  • Identifying and evaluating learning assets included in the role-based curriculums;
  • Developing new learning assets designed to meet business needs, which may include materials for classroom-based learning, PowerPoint presentations, discussion guides, facilitator guides, web-based training, job aids and performance support tools, assessments, certification programs, etc.;
  • Delivering training in a classroom and/or a webinar setting; and Collaborating with HR, business management, and various functional teams to vet and align on milestone training deliverables, collaborate on the development and review of materials, and implement/rollout of new training courses/materials.
  • Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices.

About You

Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, business, or related field. 3+ years directly applicable experience in insurance or financial brokerage.

Property and Casualty Insurance experience 

Proficient in developing and following individual work plan(s).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in using MS Office applications with key strengths in PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.

25% travel is required, with specific area of travel being within assigned region and at times, travel to Gallagher headquarters.
Preferred:

Professional certification (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance CPLP) or equivalent training experience preferred.

Applied Epic 

Property and Casualty License

Insurance and/or customer service learning and development experience preferred.
Behaviors:

Able to collaborate with clients and key stakeholders to identify learning needs, build out materials and implement them in a way that leads to behavior change.
