About the Job:

Position Summary:
The Dispatch Manager is responsible for overseeing route reviews, morning returns process with the drivers, and coordination of delivery teams to ensure efficient and timely final mile furniture deliveries. This role manages driver performance, resolves service issues, and serves as the primary communication link between customer service staff for the client and our delivery crews, clients, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance.
  • Dispatch drivers and helpers, ensuring proper staffing and equipment allocation day 
  • Monitor deliveries in real time and proactively resolve delays or service issues.
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery windows and escalations.
  • Track key performance metrics including on-time delivery, damages, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations.
  • Coach and support delivery teams to maintain high service standards.
  • Coordinate with warehouse operations to ensure accurate load-outs and inventory control.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of dispatch, logistics, or transportation management experience (final mile preferred).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Bi-Lingual preferred.
