Role Overview We are hiring for a Service Coordinator position. The Service Coordinator will schedule technicians for maintenance/repairs, manage customer communication, handle service orders, order parts, track job progress, and ensure smooth operations for industrial air systems. You will act as the key link between customers, managers, and field staff for preventive and emergency service. Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling & Dispatch: Schedule preventive maintenance (PMs) and emergency calls for technicians, optimizing their routes and utilization.
  • Customer Communication: Serve as the main point of contact, providing updates, resolving issues, confirming appointments, and making sales calls.
  • Service Order Management: Create, manage, and track service orders, including securing purchase orders, logging time, and filing paperwork.
  • Parts Coordination: Order, track, expedite, receive parts to inventory, put parts away, pull parts for techs for upcoming jobs, put unused parts back in place, and follow up on parts needed for repairs. File warranty paperwork with manufacturers.
  • Administrative Support: Type estimates, maintain customer records, handle service contracts, and manage technician labor records.
  • Technical Liaison: Understand basic technical needs, report issues to the Service Manager, and ensure technicians have necessary instructions/tools. Note: The above job description is a high-level overview and additional job responsibilities may be assigned. Benefits
