Job Summary and Qualifications

The Food & Nutrition Food Service Worker II will be a competent support services employee who is responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. The role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees and may provide training and guidance to other employees performing related work. 


Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist.  Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the Performance Management Plan. 


Integrates ethics in all areas of practice.  Adheres to confidentiality and patient’s right policies. 


Completes work within acceptable time limits.  Demonstrates the ability to set priorities. 


Able to perform several tasks simultaneously during peak workload situations. 


Ensures accuracy and completeness of work performed. 


Maintains a clean organized work area.
