THE ROLE
As a Part-time Service Associate in Lancaster, WI, you will play an important role in supporting individuals with disabilities as they build independence, explore opportunities, and work toward personal goals.No two days will ever look the same in this position, if you are looking for a fun position where you can make a difference, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

  • Competitive hourly rate of $16.00/hr
  • Part-Time - 10-29 hours a week
  • Flexible Scheduling; this position offers shifts that are 2 - 6 hours long
  • Monday through Friday daytime hours with shifts between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

RESPONSIBILITIES
No two days will ever be the same in day services. You will be a Group Staff or Support Staff. Group Staff Responsibilities:

  • Lead groups through activities and discussion. Support people with disabilities in work, exploring their community and learning new activities

Support Staff:

  • Support staff as a whole
  • Assist with providing breaks, aiding in personal care, cleaning, and more.

In this position, you will provide hands-on support across several programs at our Lancaster site, including Day Services, Prevocational Services, Community Employment, and our Thrift Store operations. Your work will help individuals develop life and workplace skills, build meaningful relationships, and connect with their community.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Must be 18 years of age or older

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic knowledge and understanding of issues affecting individuals with disabilities

Comfort using technology including Microsoft Office or similar software systems

Ability to work independently while adapting to the needs of participants and programs

Ability to obtain First Aid certification within 30 days of hire

Preferred
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Experience working with individuals with disabilities

Experience supporting employment readiness or skill development
