Location: Ozark, Missouri
Schedule: Per Diem/PRN

Compensation: $17 per hour

A partnership between CoxHealth and Select Medical, our 63-bed medical rehabilitation hospital serves patients in Southwest Missouri. Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

  • Prepare high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner
  • Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work
  • Maintain compliance to regulatory requirements for safe food handling, by following sanitation, infection control, risk management guidelines and HACCP plan.
  • Completes cleaning duties, pulling trash, sweeping, mopping
  • Assist patients in completing menu selections, offering alternative menu in accordance with food allergies, food sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
  • Update and validate diet changes in the patient diet management system, prints and distributes reports, tallies, menus and meal tickets.
  • Stock nourishment rooms and assist with kitchen stocking
  • Perform cafeteria duties as assigned including serving, grilling, stocking, cleaning and cash handling.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Food Handlers Card

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling
  • Healthcare/restaurant experience

  • Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside the culinary team and leaders
