The Server/Bartender, Interactive Dining is responsible for creating a lively and memorable guest experience by combining exceptional service, expert knowledge of food and beverages and interactive storytelling. This role ensures a welcoming, energetic atmosphere while delivering high-quality food and drinks, engaging guests through performance and hospitality, all while upholding AREA15's service standards and Health compliance requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Proactively interact with guests to create memorable experiences, creating a fun and lively environment.
  • Contribute to maintaining an energetic, guest-centric dining room atmosphere in collaboration with culinary staff.?
  • Support a culture of hospitality by ensuring interactions reflect friendliness, attentiveness, and care for the guest experience.
  • Tell a story or provide information about each dish and/or beverage as it's being served to the guest.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of menu items, offering effective explanations to guests.
  • Requires strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer, and crafted cocktails
  • Make menu item recommendations, showcasing strong upselling skills.
  • Always adhere to all Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) requirements.
  • Communicate any food allergies or special nutritional needs to the culinary staff.
  • Efficiently take food and beverage orders, ensuring accurate entry into the point-of-sale system.
  • Crafting and serving beverages to guests in a timely manner.
  • Promptly fulfill orders, prioritizing high-quality food and drink delivery.
  • Exhibit attentive service, including refilling drinks, anticipating, and attending to guest needs timely.
  • Actively participate in marketing, publicity, and media materials for venue promotion.
  • Embrace dressing up in costumes for events and themed parties.
  • Set up your assigned workstation for full operation, ensuring all supplies, products, and tools are fully stocked.
  • Handle credit card transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Execute both opening, running side work and closing duties.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and promptly seek assistance from the manager on duty when required.
  • Effectively address customer service issues and escalate them to a manager when necessary.
  • Adhere to proper food handling and preparation best practices to prevent foodborne illness, reporting any concerns to a manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness in your assigned workstation and related areas, ensuring a clean, sanitary, and safe environment.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures, and health regulations.
  • Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Position Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
  • Hold a minimum of 1-2 years of food serving experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Strong ability to engage with guests in a friendly, professional and approachable manner.
  • Ability to engage in storytelling or describing dishes to enhance the guest experience.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to balance beverage preparation and guest interaction.
  • Collaborative team player who can work closely with the entire staff to maintain a lively, guest-centric atmosphere.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and exceptional time management.
  • Show strong multitasking and prioritization abilities, even under high-pressure circumstances, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Hold valid work cards, including Food Handler cards, Non-Gaming card, and Alcohol Awareness cards.
  • Able to work extended periods on your feet while maintaining a professional demeanor in a high-stress and fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in a dimly lit environment featuring flashing lights.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, extreme cold.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft applications. (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
