$2.13/hr + tips After one year of service and working over an average of 30 hours per work will be elible for benefits including PTO, medical, dental, vision, Life insurance, short and long-term disability, 401K

Job Overview
The purpose of this position is to interact with our guests and ensure they have a great experience when dining at the restaurant. Restaurant Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome and comfortable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
  • Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items…etc.
  • Handle the table bookings, direct customers to their tables, presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing customers about food preparation details, communicating specific and accurate       customer needs to the cooks.
  • Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing other various preparation tasks.
  • Prepare drinks for service to your customers table.
  • Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change.
  • Filling in for absent staff as needed.
  • Assisting with special events as needed.
  • Greet all guests and owners warmly with an appropriate greeting.
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
  • Understands and can communicate products and services available at the restaurant.
  • Must have some familiarity with basic cooking skills.
  • Follow all policies and procedures of MH Restaurants.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
  • Perform other tasks, including cross-training as directed.
  • Maintain dress code and uniform standard.
  • Complete required training assigned through the company training portal.
  • Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
  • Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the MH Restaurants group brand.
  • Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous guest service/serving experience preferred.
  • Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
  • Flexible schedule helpful.
  • Valid Food Handler Certificate required.
