VENUE/PROPERTY INFO

Located at PNC Field, home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, this role offers the opportunity to work in a professional sports and events venue. PNC Field is a 10,000-seat professional baseball stadium featuring a full-size ballpark, multiple concession areas, premium seating, suites, and event spaces. The venue hosts not only baseball games but is proud to host a range of other events throughout the year.

THE ROLE

Serve as a key part of the game-day team at PNC Field by delivering attentive, professional, and personalized food and beverage service to guests in the suite areas and other hospitality areas during RailRiders events. This role focuses on ensuring suites are properly set up and stocked, fulfilling food and beverage requests in a timely manner, maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards, and providing an elevated guest experience in a fast-paced, high-energy sports environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Provide attentive, professional in-suite food and beverage service to all guests.
  • Review suite orders, event details, and guest instructions prior to each event.
  • Prepare suites prior to each event, ensuring all food and beverages are properly stocked, organized, and presentation-ready.
  • Maintain suite presentation and cleanliness throughout the event.
  • Execute guest orders accurately and in a timely manner, coordinating with the kitchen team as needed.
  • Monitor and replenish suite inventory throughout the event to maintain service standards.
  • Assist with catering functions and demonstrate flexibility by supporting multiple service roles as needed, including bartender, server, and catering support.
  • Uphold responsible alcohol service standards at all times in compliance with company and PLCB regulations.
  • Process additional orders through POS systems and ensure accurate billing.
  • Clear suites post-event, ensuring proper storage and disposal of items.
  • Assit with promotional and upselling initiatives, including desserts and beverage features.
  • Complete all opening and closing duties assigned by the Managers.
  • Maintain clear communication with Managers and Kitchen Staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or event operations preferred.
