Server Responsibilities
• Take food and drink orders from guests accurately and with a positive manner
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner
• Greet guests as they enter the restaurant
• Knowledge of the menu, alcohol, and wine with the ability to make suggestions
• Take immediate action to correct any problems that may occur
• Collect payments from tables
• Operate order submission and payments through POS software
• Follow the company's Steps of Service at all times
Server Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to handle money accurately
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner
• Ability to work well with others
• Knowledge of wine and wine pairing with dishes on the menu
• Knowledge of common cocktails
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform
• Willing to engage in further education and evolve
