Job Summary:
Epic is a leading company in healthcare technology located in Madison, WI, seeking a Server Systems Administrator to maintain optimal system performance for healthcare organizations. The role involves developing tools, troubleshooting code, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the reliability of Epic's systems.
Responsibilities:
• Following policies and procedures and escalating when policies or procedures are not followed
• Escalating potential security incidents and providing relevant information
• Meeting all security responsibilities defined in policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Required:
• A history of academic and professional success
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, Engineering, MIS, or other hard science
• Knowledge of Linux or Windows system administration, virtualization, scripting, automation, or DevOps processes
• Willingness to travel 1-2 weeks per year
• Available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
• COVID-19 vaccination
