FLSA: Non-Exempt

Status: Full-time, Seasonal

Reports to: Restaurant Manager

Pay Range: $21.30 / hour

Job Summary: The Server Assistant - Busser / Runner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area by clearing tables, assisting servers, and ensuring the restaurant meets high sanitation standards. This role plays a key part in providing efficient service to guests and contributing to a positive dining experience.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Clear tables of used dishes, glassware, and utensils in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Clean and reset tables for the next guest, ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.

  • Assist servers by delivering food and beverages as needed.

  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors, chairs, and service stations.

  • Refill water glasses and provide additional service support as required.

  • Carry dishes, trays, and glassware to the dishwashing area.

  • Ensure all service stations are stocked with necessary supplies throughout the shift.

  • Follow proper sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages.

  • Assist with restaurant setup and breakdown during opening and closing shifts.
