Join Our Flash Team as a Production Assembly Technician!

Flash is looking for a Production Assembly Technician to kit, assemble, and package quality electromechanical and mechanical products to fulfill inventory requirements and meet customer demands. As a Production Assembly Technician, you will work with other technicians to achieve production goals and ensure the work environment is organized and safe. In addition, you will help drive continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.

Location: Dripping Springs Warehouse, Onsite

Shift: Mon-Fri 7 am-3:30 pm

What You'll Do:

  • Inventory parts and tools used in the assembly process
  • Discern the quality of parts and materials used in production
  • Assemble mechanical assemblies using electric screw drivers and hand tools as required
  • Kit OEM components as part of a finished product
  • Test and inspect finished products for defects
  • Package and palletize finished products
  • Follow verbal and written technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms
  • Fill out work orders and serialization capturing forms.
  • Work safely in a warehouse environment
  • Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace

 What You Bring:

Technical Skills

  • 6 months or more of experience performing mechanical assemblies using electric screw drivers and hand tools 
  • 6 months or more of experience doing electromechanical assembly
  • Ability to solder preferred
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to work effectively in a dynamic environment with rapidly shifting and evolving priorities
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows PC / Linux environments and associated components (preferred)
  • Basic computer skills such as emailing, record keeping, ordering, inventory management and form filing
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Forklift certification is preferred but not required. Employees may be trained and certified to operate a forklift; however, forklift operation will only be required after successful completion of company training and certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, occasionally with assistance from another team member.
