Job description

Overview
The Contracts Manager at Senture, a TP company serves as the primary liaison between federal, state, and local government agencies and the company. This role oversees the full contract lifecycle for government work, ensures strict compliance with FAR/DFARS and related regulations, mitigates contractual and compliance risk, supports proposal development, and leads negotiations and contract administration activities to protect Senture's interests and enable successful program delivery.
This position is fully remote and may require occasional travel to customer or company offices.
This position must be able obtain and maintain any required security clearances if assigned to DoD or other clearance-requiring contracts.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field required.
  • This position requires US Citizenship
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain any required security clearances if assigned to DoD or other clearance-requiring contracts.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., NCMA CPCM, CFCM, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in federal contract management; experience with DoD or civilian agencies strongly preferred.
  • Experience with drafting. Non-disclosure agreements, Master Service agreements, Teaming agreements, in the public and private sector space.
  • Experience managing Service contract act compliant contracts
  • Proven track record negotiating complex contract terms and managing contract modifications.
  • Negotiation & Communication
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with government officials and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare clear contract language and executive-level briefings.
  • Deep working knowledge and demonstrated experience with FAR and DFARS
  • Familiarity with CAS and other federal acquisition policies.
  • Strong contract administration and lifecycle management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience managing GSA schedule contracts.
  • Experience supporting proposal teams and preparing cost/price proposals.
  • Familiarity with CPARS and government audit processes.

Responsibilities
Contract Lifecycle Management
  • Manage cradle-to-grave contract activities: review RFIs/RFPs, support proposal drafting, negotiate terms, and oversee contract award and execution.
  • Draft, review, and approve contract documents, statements of work, task orders, and modifications.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and company policies.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and regulatory risks; develop corrective action plans when needed.
  • Negotiations & Administration
  • Lead negotiations on terms and conditions, pricing provisions, deliverables, and contract modifications.
  • Administer contract performance, change orders, and closeout activities.
  • Audit, Reporting & Performance
  • Prepare for and support government audits and inquiries.
  • Manage CPARS reporting and maintain accurate, audit-ready contract files and documentation.

Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contracting officers and program officials.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Program Management, and Business Development to align contract terms with operational and financial objectives.
  • GSA Schedule Management
  • Maintain and refresh GSA schedule contracts, ensuring compliance with pricing, reporting, and tracking requirements.
