Job description

Sentinel Group, LLC is seeking Warehouse Specialists to support Hazardous Material Supply Operations (HMSO) at Fort Bliss, Texas. Personnel will support hazardous material receiving, storage, inventory accountability, material movement, issue operations, and warehouse organization in support of Army logistics operations.

Warehouse Specialists will assist with maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting customer issue operations, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards associated with hazardous material operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, store, and issue hazardous materials.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation activities.
  • Operate material handling equipment and warehouse equipment.
  • Label, package, and prepare materials for storage or issue.
  • Maintain operational logs and warehouse documentation.
  • Follow all environmental, safety, and hazardous material handling procedures.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and material movement operations.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas.
  • Support Government inspections and operational requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse, logistics, or supply experience.
  • Experience with inventory management and material handling.
  • Ability to operate in a structured warehouse environment.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and safety requirements.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain installation access.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior military supply or warehouse experience.
  • Experience supporting hazardous material operations.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience using warehouse inventory systems.
  • HAZWOPER certification.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb, and move materials throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.

Security / Compliance Requirements

  • Must comply with all installation access requirements.
  • Must complete all required Government training.
  • Must comply with all safety, environmental, and hazardous material handling procedures.

General Position Requirements

All personnel supporting this requirement may be required to complete:

  • HAZWOPER training
  • Threat Awareness and Reporting Program (TARP) training
  • Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) training
  • Environmental and safety training
  • Installation-specific access and badging requirements
  • Occupational Reliability Program (ORP) requirements where applicable

All work performed under this requirement supports Fort Bliss Hazardous Material Supply Operations (HMSO) and includes receiving, storing, issuing, tracking, and managing hazardous materials in support of installation logistics operations.
