Part- time -Mondays and Wednesdays, with an occasional Friday. The hours are 0730-1600

Job Duties:

Nutrition assessment of a wide variety of acute and chronic disease states, individual and group counseling, culinary nutrition. Serves as a Sentara representative for health fairs, media outreach, and community presentations. Communicates and collaborates with providers and other members of the healthcare team for referrals, clinical diagnostic data, weekly rounds and any other patient care meetings as needed.
BLS is required to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Registered Dietitian (RD) must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Verification statements required for those candidates awaiting RD credentialing.

If Bachelor's Degree is in major other than Dietetics, must complete an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics.
