Provider Specialty Overview: Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists, a division of Sentara Medical Group, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to provide PRN coverage at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a 500+ bed tertiary care facility and the region’s only Level I Trauma Center.

Located in Norfolk, Virginia, the hospital serves as a major referral center for southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina, offering highly specialized and advanced clinical services.

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is home to nationally recognized programs, including a comprehensive heart hospital, advanced neurosciences and neurosurgery services, transplant programs, and high-risk obstetrics.

As the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School, it provides a dynamic academic environment with a strong emphasis on innovation, research, and clinical excellence.

Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists is a highly regarded team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs providing care to thousands of patients annually across Hampton Roads.

Physicians are board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, and CRNAs are certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology.
