Job description

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Gravette, Arkansas, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Respiratory department.
Our Mission: Ozarks Community Hospital and clinics are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare and preventive services to all patients in an atmosphere of compassion, respect, and dignity, with a commitment to care for the underserved and to improve access to care.
Under the direction of the Cardiopulmonary Manager, the RRT is responsible for demonstrating a high level of quality patient care as it is related to respiratory therapy, cardiac, and diagnostic procedures (if applicable). Responsible for assisting the department manager in coordinating the smooth function of the department and providing technical support in all departmental activities.
Benefits include:
  • Eligibility for health, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) plan; life insurance; short-term disability; flexible spending accounts; and many other elective benefits subject to plan terms.
  • Paid time off (PTO) earned on an accrual basis starting first day of employment, up to 3.5 weeks per year based on a 40-hour work week.
  • Company-paid holidays.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Credentials earned and maintained through the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Recertification required before expiration throughout employment.
  • ACLS and PALS required.
  • Must be licensed to practice Respiratory Care in the applicable state and maintain all required CEUs
