Job description

We are seeking a dependable, experienced, and personable individual to provide day-to-day personal assistance in the home. This is a part-time role of approximately 20 hours per week, suited to someone who takes genuine pride in their work and understands the importance of discretion, consistency, and care when working in a private

household. The role is varied and hands-on, and would suit someone practical, self-motivated, and who enjoys making a real difference to someone's

daily life.

Key responsibilities

Driving & Errands

Transporting to and from appointments, collecting prescriptions, dry cleaning, and other items; carrying out a range of household errands as required, both locally and further afield.

Organization & Scheduling

Managing appointments, correspondence, and day-to-day scheduling; keeping paperwork and records in good order; anticipating needs and planning ahead to ensure nothing is overlooked.

Shopping

Carrying out grocery and household shopping, whether in-store or online; ensuring the home is consistently well-stocked and that purchases are made thoughtfully and within budget.

Bill payment & household admin

Ensuring household bills and utilities are paid on time; tracking expenses; liaising with service providers

as required, managing correspondence and flagging anything that needs attention.

Light housework & Cooking (is a plus)

The ideal candidate is:

Honest, trustworthy, and respectful of privacy, essential when working in someone's home.

Experienced, calm, and capable of managing a varied workload with confidence

Well-organized, thorough, and able to work independently without close supervision

Holds a full, clean driver's license and is a confident, responsible driver

Comfortable managing financial tasks such as bill payment and household budgeting

Warm and personable, with good communication and a caring nature

Previous experience in a similar household or personal assistant role is highly desirable
