Reports To: Production Manager and Senior Videographer - PTN


Position Overview:

The Senior Video Producer - PTN (SVP - PTN) plays a critical role in creating video content for the Pocono Mountains. The SVP - PTN contributes to all aspects of the video process, from pre- to post-production, and drives the PTN’s video content strategy forward. With a key focus on content, SVP - PTN creates exceptional and compelling videos, helps push and elevate overall video standards, and works with the talented team to elevate all aspects of video content. The SVP - PTN possesses a talent and enthusiasm for fulfilling tourism-related stories and uncovering the uniqueness of the Pocono Mountains. To excel in this role, SVP - PTN should be self-motivated, organized, passionate, friendly, and a team player. The SVP - PTN looks to build and sustain excellent relationships with PMVB members, co-workers, and community partners. It is key to the success of this position and company.

Requirements:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill video assignments in conjunction with internal departments
  • Collaborate with PMVB members and identified community groups on various video projects with tact and diplomacy
  • Be a natural and creative storyteller using video
  • Shoot and edit videos by deadline
  • Accept feedback and review of final pieces through editorial approval process
  • Manage various projects at one time, which include a mix of quick-turn and special projects
  • Demonstrate exceptional planning/organizational skills and follow procedures for filing video and scripts
  • Supervise and plan live broadcasts for Pocono events
  • Brainstorm and develop story ideas and create workflows
  • Consult with the team in re: purchasing gear and production design
  • Contribute to the organization’s branding and overall messaging
  • Mentor other team members in areas the SVP – PTN specializes in, as needed
  • Collaborate with team members on video productions, playing an integral role throughout, including directing, producing, lighting, audio, or other areas
  • Advance professionally and personally through continued education provided by PMVB, included but not limited to Pryor learning, drone certification, coaching and in-person seminars.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
