Job DescriptionReporting to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing and Communications, this role supports Auster's launch and future communications and marketing needs across AMB West. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, creative thinker and detail-oriented project coordinator who can capture content, manage social media, organize assets, track deadlines and keep projects moving.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications:

  • Support marketing and communications efforts across AMB West properties, working closely with internal stakeholders, agency partners and vendors.
  • Write, edit and proofread brand-aligned copy for social media, email, web, print and internal communications.
  • Assist with website updates, content accuracy, tracking and basic reporting.
  • Provide administrative support, including calendars, meeting notes, timelines, approvals, vendor coordination and marketing workflows.

Social Media Management:

  • Support AMB West social channels, with potential ownership of Auster at Dome Mountain's social presence.
  • Develop content calendars and ensure posts are timely, accurate, brand-right and aligned with property priorities.
  • Capture on-site photo and video content including Reels, Stories, guest experiences, events and community storytelling.
  • Create platform-specific captions, Reels, Stories, carousels and short-form video concepts.
  • Apply social media best practices, including hashtags, tagging, scheduling, community management and performance insights.
  • Monitor engagement, trends, comments and platform updates to recommend content improvements.

Content Capture & Digital Library Management:

  • Build and maintain a content capture calendar, including outreach, scheduling, shot lists and follow-up.
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots, including logistics, vendor communication, asset review and usage tracking.
  • Maintain a searchable digital asset library for photography, video, brand files and approved materials.

Community Relations:

  • Support Montana community relations through event support, partner storytelling, messaging and follow-up materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, social media, hospitality, public relations or a related role.
  • Comfortable using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite to create polished, brand-consistent materials. Basic understanding of Photoshelter preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, short-form video, social copywriting, scheduling tools and basic reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage calendars, deadlines, digital assets, approvals, vendors and multiple priorities.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone by audience and channel.
  • Basic media relations, website content management, analytics and photo editing experience preferred.
