Job description

ISR’s Medical Transportation program provides Whidbey seniors private rides to medical appointments and essential errands. Our volunteer drivers provide transportation to Island, King, Whatcom, Skagit, and Snohomish counties. The Volunteer Medical Transportation Driver is responsible for providing reliable transportation, keeping current required insurance while transporting clients to and from doctor and hospital appointments along with shopping trips. The hours are flexible, and mileage reimbursement is offered.

Location: Pick up clients on Whidbey Island and transport to locations in Island, King, Whatcom, Skagit, and Snohomish counties

Commitment and Frequency: Flexible. Sign up for rides that work with your schedule.

Days and Hours: Rides are generally needed on weekdays between 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Mileage Reimbursement: Volunteers log miles to be turned in each month for reimbursement.
