Be a part of something special!Position OverviewHalvik is seeking a Senior Technology Specialist to support an emerging technology program focused on improving and incorporating new information technology (IT) technologies, resolving complex challenges, and enhancing processes. This role supports the assessment and integration of software technologies and solutions geared toward ensuring comprehensive data security to proactively protect sensitive information processed through cloud-native applications and workloads throughout their development and operational lifecycle. The Senior Technology Specialist will work closely with Halvik's delivery team, the customer, and stakeholders to ensure technology solutions assessed and adopted protect sensitive agency and stakeholder information while enabling the agency's technology adoption goals (e.g., Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML)).Core ResponsibilitiesSupport the formulation and direction of enterprise-wide strategies for AI-enabled systems, computer hardware/software integration, and cloud-native architectures, ensuring compliance with Federal mandates and Executive Orders.Design, develop, and evaluate advanced computer engineering solutions for secure AI system deployment, such as by incorporating cybersecurity-by-design and DevSecOps principles.Lead and coordinate cross-agency AI engineering projects involving large-scale digital transformation, data platforms, and secure computing infrastructures.Provide advanced technology support for enterprise AI integration, software and hardware enablement, and ensuring governance compliance (for example, data security posture management (DSPM) software).Support engineering teams with AI-assisted workflows, prompt engineering, agent orchestration frameworks, and model evaluation tools.Align software deployments with Federal regulations, data management policies, and security frameworks.Minimum RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in a related field.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, ideally within a Federal environment.
