Job description

U.S. Personal Banking (USPB) is a major business at Citi. The In-Business Credit & Franchise Risk Organization within USPB is responsible for managing the credit and franchise risk of the USPB business. The Head of In-Business Credit & Franchise Risk reports to the CEO of USPB.
One of the groups within In-Business Credit & Franchise Risk Organization is Enterprise Risk and Balance Sheet Management. This group is responsible for executing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programs including, but not limited to, Risk Identification, Risk Appetite & Limits, Risk Monitoring and Risk Framework & Policy.
USPB Risk Monitoring and Framework Execution team is responsible for development and implementation of robust risk monitoring and risk framework execution of the business in line with Enterprise Risk Management programs. This individual reports to Head of USPB Risk Monitoring and Framework Execution and is responsible for driving development and implementation of risk monitoring and reporting in partnership with the stakeholders in the business and second line of defense risk management.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform USPB ERM Risk Monitoring including monitoring of material risk, exposure against risk appetite limits & thresholds and key risk indicators/metrics.
  • Develop high quality risk reports that support the timely identification, measurement, monitoring and controlling of risk including information on risk profile, concentrations, and trends for individual and aggregate risk of USPB business.
  • Provide monitoring results and key reports to senior managements and business leadership on a periodic basis to support sound risk management and decision making.
  • Drive to automate the monitoring and reporting process in partnership with stakeholders in USPB business, Enterprise Risk Management, Independent Risk Management, and DART (Data, Analytics, Reporting and Tech).
  • Ensure required governance and controls are in place in the monitoring and reporting process.

Qualifications:
  • 6- 10 years of financial industry experience including risk management and financial planning and analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in leading change, with track record of improving business performance and enhance risk management
  • Skills in data, analytics, databases, data quality are desired; experience in Tableau, PowerBI, visualization is preferred
  • Relevant experience in the following areas preferred:
    • Credit risk management (e.g. wholesale credit, retail credit)
    • Non-Financial risk management (e.g. Operational, Compliance) is a plus
    • Strong knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Experience in consumer bank and/or wealth management business
    • Solid experience in working with technology to drive useful solutions
