About This Role
RGP is seeking an entrepreneurial SAP consulting executive to help expand and mature our SAP consulting capabilities. This role is focused on developing differentiated consulting offerings, advancing enterprise solution architecture, enabling strategic pursuits, strengthening delivery methodologies, and accelerating innovation across our SAP portfolio.
This is not a traditional SAP Practice management position. Instead, you will serve as a senior technical and commercial advisor, partnering across ERP, Finance Transformation, AI, Data, and Business Technology Services to develop scalable consulting capabilities that drive long-term growth and client value.
This is a fully remote role that will require an estimated 30%-50% travel for meetings with internal and external stakeholders. The base compensation range for this role is expected to be between $187,200 - $234,000 plus incentive.
What You Will Work On
Enterprise Solution Architecture
• Support the design of complex SAP transformation solutions for strategic clients.
• Develop integrated business and technology solutions spanning SAP, AI, Data, Finance Transformation, Organizational Change, and Business Technology Services.
• Serve as a senior solution architect for large consulting pursuits and strategic client engagements.
• Develop enterprise architecture standards, implementation guidance, and solution frameworks that improve delivery consistency across the SAP portfolio.
SAP Consulting Innovation
Develop and commercialize new SAP consulting capabilities including:
• SAP S/4HANA Readiness Assessments
• Implementation Assurance
• ERP Stabilization
• AI-Enabled ERP Assessments
• Finance Transformation
• Carve-Out & Integration Readiness
• Operating Model Optimization
• SAP AI Adoption
Create repeatable methodologies, commercial offerings, accelerators, templates, and delivery playbooks that differentiate RGP in the marketplace.
Strategic Pursuit Support
Partner with Client Development, Practice Leaders, and executive leadership to support strategic SAP consulting opportunities by:
• Supporting executive discovery sessions and solution workshops.
• Developing differentiated SAP solution strategies aligned to business outcomes.
• Providing technical and functional expertise during complex pursuits.
• Supporting proposal development, solution architecture, and executive presentations.
• Assisting with competitive positioning and commercial solution development to improve pursuit success.
AI & Technology Innovation
Partner with internal teams and strategic technology providers to integrate emerging technologies into SAP consulting services, including:
• Source AI
• SAP Joule
• Agentic AI
• Intelligent Automation
• AI-enabled implementation accelerators
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend new consulting capabilities that strengthen RGP's market differentiation.
Consulting Capability Development
Develop reusable consulting assets including:
• Delivery methodologies
• Architecture standards
• Proposal templates
• Commercial pricing models
• Delivery playbooks
• Implementation accelerators
• Executive workshop materials
• Technical standards
Support the continuous improvement of SAP consulting quality, consistency, and scalability across the practice.
Cross-Practice Collaboration to develop integrated client solutions that address complex business transformation challenges.
Partner with leaders across:

• Cybersecurity
• Business Technology Services

Thought Leadership:

We are looking for someone who is on the cusp of becoming a senior consulting executive-an individual who has established technical credibility, successfully delivered complex SAP programs, and is ready to broaden their impact beyond project delivery.
The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of SAP consulting experience and has demonstrated success balancing delivery excellence, client advisory, commercial support, and team development.
This individual is likely serving today within any one of the identified roles below at a consulting organization and is looking for an opportunity to expand their influence across solution development, innovation, and strategic consulting.

Experience
Required
• At least 10 years of SAP consulting experience.
• Multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA and at least one core functional area (Finance strongly preferred).
• Experience serving as a Solution Architect, Engagement Manager, or Delivery Lead on complex ERP transformations.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
• Experience facilitating executive workshops and solution discussions.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with CIOs, CFOs, Controllers, and business executives.
• Experience mentoring consulting teams and developing emerging talent.
Commercial Experience
The ideal candidate understands the commercial side of consulting and has experience contributing to business growth through:
• Supporting strategic pursuits and proposal development.
• Developing solution strategies for new opportunities.
• Managing or contributing to revenue, bookings, or sales objectives.
• Growing existing client relationships through trusted advisory services.
• Balancing utilization, delivery quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
