Job description

Senior Technical Recruiter - Cleared IT / GovCon
Location: Remote - within 1hour of Tysons Corner, VA
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
IntelliDyne, LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to run a full-cycle recruiting desk supporting our government IT services business. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role focused on sourcing, screening, and closing cleared and clearable IT talent against a steady pipeline of open requisitions - not a purely administrative or coordination role. The ideal candidate has deep experience recruiting for GovCon environments, is comfortable owning a full requisition load independently, and can provide the reporting and resource-allocation visibility leadership needs to manage hiring against contract and program requirements.
This role is remote within 1 hour of Tysons Corner, VA - will be required to participate in onsite meetings.
What You'll Do
Full-Desk Recruiting & Sourcing
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for a portfolio of open technical requisitions, from intake through offer acceptance, including direct sourcing, not just pipeline management.
  • Proactively source and qualify candidates for cleared and clearable IT roles (e.g., systems engineers, network engineers, cloud/DevOps, cybersecurity, software developers, help desk/IT support, program-specific labor categories).
  • Screen candidates for technical fit, clearance status/eligibility, and labor-category compliance (degree level, years of specialized experience, certifications) against contract and proposal requirements.
  • Manage the full candidate experience: screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and closing.
  • Maintain and grow a pipeline of cleared and clearance-eligible talent ahead of anticipated contract needs, rather than recruiting reactively only after a requisition opens.

Reporting & Resource Allocation
  • Produce and deliver weekly recruiting reports to leadership covering requisition status, pipeline health, time-to-fill, time-to-accept, and offer-acceptance metrics.
  • Own resource allocation across open requisitions prioritizing and re-prioritizing req load based on contract urgency, labor-category criticality, and program staffing deadlines.
  • Flag hiring risks (stalled reqs, thin candidate pools, clearance bottlenecks) to leadership proactively, with recommended mitigations.
  • Partner with program/contract leadership to align hiring priorities with contract award timelines, ramp-up schedules, and recompete transitions.

Process & Compliance
  • Ensure every submission meets labor-category and contract compliance requirements before advancing a candidate.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date requisition and candidate records in the ATS.
  • Support offer structuring and compensation benchmarking in coordination with HR leadership.

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with a significant portion spent recruiting cleared IT talent within the government contracting (GovCon) sector.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting against active Secret, Top Secret, and/or TS/SCI clearance requirements, including familiarity with clearance transfer, reciprocity, and sponsorship processes.
  • Experience supporting proposal/capture efforts with recruiting availability letters or pipeline data.
  • Strong direct-sourcing skills - this is a sourcing-heavy desk, not a role reliant solely on inbound applicants.
  • Working knowledge of federal labor category requirements and how to qualify candidates against them (degree substitutions, years of specialized vs. general experience, required certifications).
  • Experience managing a full requisition load independently, with a track record of meeting time-to-fill and time-to-accept targets in a competitive, tight labor market.
  • Comfortable producing regular, data-driven reporting for leadership and making prioritization calls across a portfolio of open reqs.
  • Excellent candidate management and negotiation skills, particularly around counter offers and competing bids common in the cleared talent market.
  • Advanced level skills Applicant Tracking Management skills, preferably with Greenhouse or similar.

Preferred
  • Prior experience recruiting for federal systems integrators or IT services contractors of a similar size/scope to IntelliDyne.
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS-adjacent hiring constraints (bid-ceiling pricing, proposal-locked labor categories).

Logistics
  • Work Location: This role is remote within 1 hour of Tysons Corner, VA - will be required to participate in onsite meetings at corporate office or client's sites (DC metro).
  • Travel: Minimal and ad hoc; primarily local/regional for client or leadership meetings.
  • Clearance: Not required for this role, though familiarity with the clearance process is essential.

Compensation: $70k - $110k
