About

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing specific key client accounts and maintaining an excellent client relationship. The Senior Account Manager establishes budgets with the client, is there for conflict resolution, ensures timely deliverables, writes creative briefs and handles all client financials in partnership with operations. They are also in charge of contracts and contract renewals, quality control on the account, and actively pursues new opportunities with the client. Above all, the Senior Account Manager knows more about the accounts than anyone else in the agency; s/he is the go-to person for that client.


What you will do…
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
  • Work with clients to define goals and corresponding KPIs, and communicate these to the internal team
  • Provide strategic branding, thought leadership, and expertise
    to expand business relationships
  • Proactively planning client/agency projects on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Identify and capitalize on upsell opportunities within client portfolio
  • Manage all assigned client strategy efforts and projects
  • Work closely with all agency personnel in developing creative briefs, plans, recommendations, and deliverables
  • Oversee workflow to ensure all efforts align with brand strategy and client goals
  • Track budgets, create and monitor client SOWs, and reconciliation of budget/billing with oversight from director
  • Understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities 
    of client, target audience and industry
  • Support, mentor and oversee Account Managers and Account Coordinators (if applicable)
  • Coordinate and participate in team trainings and new hire onboarding
  • Ongoing evaluation of agency processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness; suggest optimizations when and where needed
  • Contribute positively to agency culture

Your Credentials 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in account management, agency setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to drive customer satisfaction and achieve business growth targets.
  • Proven experience in account management or sales, preferable in an agency environment.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and develop actionable insights to drive business outcomes.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and address client needs and challenges.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts.
