The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner supports several of AXIS’ most strategically important functions, including Business Technology Services (BTS), Data & Analytics, Global Operations and Transformation. This role serves as a trusted talent advisor to business leaders, helping attract, assess and hire critical talent while providing market intelligence, talent insights and recruitment strategy guidance that supports business objectives. The successful candidate will partner closely with hiring managers, People Business Partners and executive stakeholders to solve complex hiring challenges, build diverse talent pipelines and deliver an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring teams.

What will you do in this role?
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, People Business Partners and business leaders to understand hiring needs, business priorities, workforce plans and talent requirements.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment activity for assigned roles, including intake discussions, sourcing strategy, candidate identification, screening, assessment, offer management and onboarding handoff.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across multiple channels including internal mobility, referrals, direct sourcing, talent communities, external outreach, agencies and recruiting platforms.
  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor by providing talent market intelligence, competitive hiring insights, compensation perspective, talent availability analysis and recommendations to support informed hiring decisions.
  • Partner with hiring managers on search calibration, helping define realistic and competitive hiring criteria based on market conditions and available talent pools.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of talent for recurring and business-critical skill sets across technology, data, analytics, operations and transformation functions.
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience through consistent communication, thoughtful guidance and proactive issue resolution throughout the recruitment process.
  • Conduct candidate assessments and evaluate qualifications, capabilities, experiences and alignment with organizational values and role expectations.
  • Guide hiring managers through structured interviewing, candidate evaluation and selection decisions that promote consistency and sound hiring practices.
  • Lead offer strategy discussions and negotiations in partnership with hiring managers, People Business Partners, Compensation and other stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Monitor pipeline health, recruitment activity and key hiring metrics to identify risks, opportunities and process improvements.
  • Support workforce planning discussions by identifying talent trends, competitive intelligence and external market dynamics relevant to future hiring needs.
  • Manage relationships with external search firms, recruitment agencies and other service providers, ensuring effective utilization and alignment with AXIS standards.
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition initiatives related to recruiting technology, candidate experience, reporting, sourcing effectiveness, process improvement and hiring manager enablement.
  • Mentor and support other recruiting professionals by sharing best practices, market insights and recruiting expertise.
  • Apply sound judgment when navigating complex searches, shifting business priorities and challenging talent market conditions.

What you need to have
  • 7+ years of corporate or in-house full-cycle Talent Acquisition experience supporting professional, technical, operational and/or corporate functions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent searches, priorities and stakeholder groups in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers, business leaders and HR stakeholders to develop and execute recruitment strategies.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing, engaging and hiring passive candidates through a variety of channels and sourcing methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition best practices, candidate assessment, sourcing strategies and recruitment lifecycle management.
  • Experience using recruiting metrics, talent market data and pipeline insights to inform hiring decisions and recruitment strategy.
  • Experience recruiting for specialized, hard-to-fill or business-critical positions.
  • Strong communication, consulting and relationship management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility across stakeholder groups.
  • Experience leading candidate offer discussions and supporting compensation negotiations.
  • Proficiency using applicant tracking systems, recruiting technologies, sourcing tools and recruiting analytics platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and adapt effectively to changing business needs.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

What we offer

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $130,000 to $162,000 (NY). Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location. In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance.
