Job description

We are seeking a Tax Systems Integration Specialist to support the integration, development, and optimization of tax technology across the organization’s broader finance and business systems landscape.


This role will serve as a key technical partner across Tax, Finance, IT, and Enterprise Applications, ensuring that tax systems integrate effectively with ERP, billing, CRM, EPM, and other business applications.


The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of systems integration, data flows, APIs, and enterprise applications, with the ability to translate business and tax requirements into scalable technical solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and support integrations between tax systems and enterprise applications.
  • Integrate tax technology with systems including ERP / financial systems, billing and invoicing platforms, CRM applications, EPM / FP&A systems, data platforms and warehouses, and other business-critical applications
  • Analyze end-to-end data flows between tax and finance/business applications.
  • Partner with Tax, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain interfaces using APIs, middleware, integration platforms, file-based integrations, and other relevant technologies.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, data discrepancies, system errors, and performance challenges.
  • Support testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of integrations.
  • Establish and maintain documentation for system architecture, interfaces, data mappings, and integration processes.
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve automation, scalability, data quality, and system performance.
  • Participate in system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and integration projects.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure tax data is accurately and efficiently transferred across the enterprise.
  • Help establish best practices around integration architecture, monitoring, testing, and support.


Qualifications

  • Experience in tax systems integration, enterprise applications, financial systems, tax technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of how enterprise applications exchange data and communicate with one another.
  • Experience working with integrations, APIs, middleware, ETL/data pipelines, or similar technologies.
  • Ability to understand complex data flows and troubleshoot issues across multiple systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and integration solutions.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
