Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama.

The Senior Systems Integration Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

  • Participate in a broad range of engineering tasks supporting the development, testing, integration, fielding, and sustainment of advanced systems for U.S. Military platforms and mission systems
  • Develop and validate system requirements, ensuring hardware and software components integrate seamlessly
  • Collaborate with design teams, supporting test planning and execution
  • Assist with system-level troubleshooting and verification in laboratory and field environments

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • BS degree and fourteen (14) years of experience; four (4) years of related experience accepted in lieu of a degree

Required Clearance:

  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools supporting hardware/software integration
  • Experience supporting requirements development, interface definition, system verification, and validation activities
  • Experience integrating complex hardware and software components across laboratory, testbed, or vehicle environments
  • Experience with HW Avionics or SW Avionics
  • Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques (SysML/UML)
  • Experience analyzing system documentation, architecture artifacts, and interface control documents (ICDs)
  • Ability to troubleshoot integration issues and collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear technical documentation
