Key responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate strategy workshops with executive teams and senior leadership

  • Assess how data & AI impact business models, operating models and decision-making

  • Translate strategic ambitions into clear choices, priorities and actionable roadmaps

Job description

At Madison Partners, we work at the intersection of strategy, data and AI, right in the heart of Ghent’s growing tech and AI ecosystem. From here, we collaborate with ambitious organisations and senior leaders who know data and AI will shape their future, but need clarity on where to focus and how to move forward.

As a Strategy Consultant (Manager), you lead end-to-end strategic data & AI transformation programmes, working closely with CEOs, COOs and CIOs to turn ambition into concrete choices that get implemented.

You’ll join a senior, close-knit team of experienced consultants who value strategic depth, intellectual honesty and real impact. This is a role for people who want ownership, responsibility and the opportunity to help shape both client transformations and the future of Madison Partners.

Your Impact

As a Strategy Consultant, you will:

  • Lead and facilitate strategy workshops with executive teams and senior leadership
  • Assess how data & AI impact business models, operating models and decision-making
  • Translate strategic ambitions into clear choices, priorities and actionable roadmaps
  • Safeguard focus, quality and strategic coherence across engagements
  • Provide content leadership to consultants on projects
  • Act as a trusted sparring partner for clients during transformation and change
  • Contribute actively to business development, together with the partners

Each engagement is different. One moment you’re helping a healthcare organisation redefine its data-driven operating model; the next, you’re guiding an industrial company through strategic AI choices. What they all share: senior exposure, strategic responsibility, and visible impact.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for experienced consultants who want to move beyond “delivering projects” and take real ownership. You combine analytical sharpness with strong communication skills and enjoy working close to decision-makers.

  • You bring at least 5 years of experience in strategy or management consulting
  • Professional fluency in Dutch and English, given our client context (French is a plus)
  • You are located in Belgium, enabling on-site collaboration with clients when required
  • You have proven experience leading projects or engagements end-to-end
  • You bring confidence when working with senior executives and leadership teams
  • Strong analytical skills combined with clear communication and storytelling
  • A business- and organisation-first mindset (not technology-led)
  • Solid understanding of data, analytics and AI concepts to support strategic decisions
  • A desire for more impact, autonomy and responsibility than typical consulting roles offer
  • Motivation to help build a firm, not just deliver individual assignments

This role is particularly well-suited for consultants with experience at Tier-1 strategy firms (e.g. McKinsey, Bain, BCG or similar) who want their work to lead to real implementation and lasting impact.

What's In It For You
  • High-impact strategic work with senior clients
  • A senior, focused consulting environment with high standards
  • Significant autonomy, trust and ownership
  • Active involvement in business development
  • A clear and credible growth path towards Senior Manager and Partner
  • Competitive compensation
  • A Ghent-based role, with flexibility

This is a long-term role for people who want to grow, shape strategy at the highest level, and help build a consultancy that deliberately chooses depth over volume.

We’re looking for bright minds ready to solve complex problems and guide organisations through transformation.

Whether you’re exploring your next step, want to understand what consulting at Madison Partners feels like, or simply want to say hi, we’d love to meet you.
