Position Overview

As the Sr. Accountant, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation and growth across the CELSIUS® and/or Alani Nu portfolio. This is your opportunity to assist in preparing the 10-Q/K, coordinate quarterly close activities and assist with various financial analyses.

You’ll bring a strong technical accounting background and interface extensively with the general ledger team, the regional accounting teams, the legal department and both the internal & external auditors. You'll play a key role in leading, mentoring and providing guidance to junior staff / staff accountants, ensuring accounting activities are performed accurately and timely.

In-Office: Based full-time at CELSIUS® Headquarters in Boca Raton, FL

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A) in Accounting or a related field
  • CPA is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience preferably public accounting or corporate accounting
  • Exposure to large ERP systems (Great Plains, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.)
  • Strong analytical Microsoft Excel skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Performs processes and procedures related to the monthly close process including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and financial analysis.
  • Proposes and implements improvements to existing accounting processes and procedures.
  • Leads the calculation and accounting for several key management estimates and responsible for the monthly payroll and stock-based compensation close process, which includes detailed analytics, monthly account reconciliations, and external audit deliverables.
  • Assists with management and accounting for various payroll and stock-based compensation processes.
  • Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close.
  • Assist with the audit process including addressing questions and providing supporting documentation to external auditors.
  • Performs variance analysis and financial reporting across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Interacts with all levels of the Company with the ability to support requests for information, explain accounting transactions, and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
  • Works closely with the Director, Accounting and Corporate SOX and other leaders in the development and completion of ad hoc. projects, reports or presentations as deemed necessary.
  • Ability to think critically and work independently.
  • Ability to own work and effectively communicate results and recommendations.

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and location. The final offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications. This position may be eligible for other compensation, including bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (subject to company plans).
