Reconciliation Analyst II

About your role:

Support international settlement operations by analyzing balancing activity, completing reconciliations, and helping ensure accurate financial processing. You will support daily settlement activities across cash management, reconciliation, exceptions, and audit and controls. You will work with internal team members, and cross-functional partners to identify trends, resolve issues, and strengthen processes. This role is important to maintaining accurate settlement operations, supporting financial controls, and driving continuous improvement.

What you'll do:

  • Monitor and perform complex daily reconciliations and analysis of bank data for wire and Automated Clearing House (ACH) settlements, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed

  • Process correcting entries for clients using automated tools and manual adjustments with a high degree of accuracy

  • Provide daily cash projections and communicate funding position changes to Treasury throughout the day

  • Escalate reporting and settlement issues to the appropriate teams and support timely resolution

  • Maintain accurate records of reconciliation-related issues, exceptions, and corrective actions

  • Partner with process owners, management, and cross-functional teams to recommend and implement process improvements

  • Learn and support team processes, resolve out-of-balance situations, and work through escalations across daily operations

  • Create and enhance controls and procedures for existing processes and new business activity as needed

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 4+ years of experience in treasury, settlements, balancing, accounting, finance, analytics or related financial operations.

  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, macros) and other Microsoft Office tools for reconciliations, reporting, and data analysis.

  • Experience analyzing, following, and correcting cash flow patterns or errors, communicating findings and issue status with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, analytics, business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience in settlement or balancing operations.

  • Experience in interpreting financial anomalies, reconciling financial records, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy.

  • Experience using Power Automate or similar reporting tools.

How you'll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday in Coral Springs, FL, Hagerstown, MD or Berkeley Heights, NJ. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

Salary Range:

$57,000.00-$80,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
