As a Senior Manager, Sports Marketing, you will be at the center for some of the biggest decisions we make.
The Senior Manager, Sports Marketing will help drive our brands and businesses through the Sports Industry: You turn ideas into actions. Your responsibilities will span across sponsorships/partnerships, media, and agency management. This position is best suited for someone who has deep negotiation expertise. is creative, has a bias for action, a love for and network within sports and entertainment in addition to excellent communication skills. You should be comfortable working both horizontally and vertically across an organization to keep multiple projects and priorities moving forward to achieve goals.
The Senior Manager, Sports Marketing brings the opportunity to work on iconic brands with an ambitious strategy and style to drive sports partnerships. You will be responsible for partnering with incredible sports properties and talent to find new ways for our partnerships to reach consumers. You will be asked to think differently about how we partner and advertise and to inspire others to do the same.
Key Components of the Role
  • Lead the negotiation, development and execution of league, team and athlete partnerships in sports that drive differentiated channels of marketing to build brand equity and drive long-term growth for the business

  • Assist Head of Sports & Entertainment Marketing in the development of end-to-end local market strategies and provide input on partnership opportunities that align with brand and business objectives

  • Collaborate with external partners on creative briefs for sports initiatives

  • Work closely with sports marketing agency and ancillary vendors to ensure successful partnership execution

  • Assist in the development of research frameworks for ROI on Sports Partnerships

  • Support the influence of category marketing, central marketing, consumer insights, sales, finance, and agency partners to bring creative ideas & activations from concept to reality

  • Participate in discussions during presentations with business unit and marketing senior leadership

  • Collaborate with cross-agency teams (creative, social, media, PR) to bring ideas to life and extend campaign across relevant channels

  • Apply consumer insights to inform sports partnerships and campaign strategy

  • Analyze data to inform strategies and assess in-market results to drive business objectives

  • Assist in delivering creative work and activations on time and on budget

Qualifications
  • 5-7 years prior experience in sports marketing, either in a CPG company or supporting from the agency side (advertising, consulting, media), is preferred

  • Creative innovator with the courage to stand up for ideas and is passionate about the power of brand, design & consumer experience to impact strategic direction of business

  • Experience in supporting the development and execution of sports partnerships, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork

  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in a cross-functional team environment

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with multiple simultaneous projects, with a focus on adaptability and flexibility

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$120,800.00 - $151,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
