Job description

At Chicago Music Exchange, music gear isn't just our business, it's our obsession. We're always on the lookout for experienced, motivated sales professionals who share that same passion and have a proven track record of success in goal-driven sales environments.
Music is at the core of everything we do. From helping a beginner pick out their first guitar to assisting a seasoned pro in finding a rare vintage piece, we strive to make every customer interaction exceptional and memorable.
We do not have an immediate opening we are looking to fill, but we review applications on a rolling basis and reach out when the right opportunity arises. Please submit your application and resume so we have your information on file.
More about sales at Chicago Music Exchange:
This role is ideal for someone who loves musical instruments, thrives on building customer relationships, and is energized by closing deals that have a impact on compensation. As a Sales Specialist at CME, you shape your own success by creating opportunities and helping customers find the gear that inspires them.
The best fit for this role is someone who is passionate, focused, and motivated by both music and sales. Someone who enjoys turning conversations into meaningful connections and consistently following through to close. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and experiences to bring their unique perspectives, ideas, and enthusiasm to our team.
If you have the drive, experience, and love of music gear to turn your passion into a rewarding career, we'd love to hear from you.
In lieu of a cover letter, please answer the short questions included in this application to help us get to know you better.
Note: This is a rolling application. While we may not have an immediate opening, we continuously review applications and will reach out if and when a role becomes available that aligns with your background and experience. If you've recently submitted an application for a sales role, no need to apply again. We have your information on file and will be in touch if a new opening is a good fit!
