At Castro Valley School of Music, we’re passionate about helping students of all ages discover the joy of music. Our teachers are professional, supportive, and committed to creating an inspiring learning environment.
Position: Guitar Instructor (Part-Time / Flexible Schedule)
What You’ll Do:
  •  Teach one-on-one guitar lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels 
  •  Customize lesson plans based on each student’s goals and interests 
  •  Encourage consistent practice and progress 
  •  Communicate effectively with students and parents 
  •  Be part of a positive, team-oriented teaching environment 
What We’re Looking For:
  •  Strong guitar skills 
  •  Ability to teach beginners through intermediate students (advanced is a plus) 
  •  Friendly, reliable, and engaging personality 
  •  Prior teaching experience of at least one year
  •  Ability to teach a variety of styles (rock, pop, blues, etc.) 
  •  Passion for long-term student development and retention 
  •  Ability to connect with kids and teens in a fun, engaging, and encouraging way
