Project Scope:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Software Programmer - Consultant with strong expertise in VB.NET, SQL, state government tax systems, and enterprise application development.
The consultant will serve as a senior developer and technical advisor, providing technical guidance, development support, troubleshooting, and application enhancement recommendations. The role involves working on complex software solutions, maintaining system stability, optimizing application performance, and supporting production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Serve as a senior developer supporting application design, coding, and implementation activities.
• Develop, modify, test, and implement software applications.
• Configure application components and deliver technical solutions.
• Lead and manage small-scale development projects.
• Troubleshoot application, database, backup, and recovery issues.
• Develop workaround solutions for technical challenges.
• Perform software upgrades and system enhancements.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize system infrastructure.
• Ensure data integrity, system stability, and application performance.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to resolve issues.
