Description
The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining software solutions that support business operations and advance AI and digital transformation initiatives. This role will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and develop scalable, reliable applications. This role requires strong programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for creating efficient, user-friendly solutions. This will be an in-office position in Appleton, Wisconsin
  • Apply industry best practices and techniques to design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain complex applications based on business requirements.
  • Develop new software programs by using approved technologies and coding standards.
  • Analyze user needs to recommend and implement software improvements and testing.
  • Write programming scripts to enhance functionality of software development life cycle for assigned projects.
  • Conduct research on emerging application development software projects in support of procurement and development efforts.
  • Partner with development team to ensure consistency and completion of deliverables among team members.
  • Responsible for problem solving and applying processes to software solutions.
  • Design and customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all software process documentation and validation testing are completed to minimize error.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or related field and 4 years of relevant experience Required or
  • Applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of full cycle developer methodologies.
  • Proficiency in C#/.NET, Python, or Go for backend development.
  • Knowledge of React, Angular, or Vue.js for frontend development.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Azure services (App Service, Functions, Service Bus) and Azure Container Registry and image management.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases and data modeling preferred.
  • Knowledge of Helm charts, GitOps workflows, and Flux CD preferred.
  • Understanding of monitoring, logging, and application observability preferred.
  • Experience with data APIs, ETL processes, and real-time data streaming preferred.
  • Understanding of construction data formats (BIM, CAD, project management) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
