Job description

ย Echodyne is seeking a Sr. Software Developer in Test to help build our next-generation radar software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement automated tests for UI (Selenium) and REST APIs using Pythonย 
  • Analyze product requirements and specifications to create detailed test scenarios and automation suitesย 
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkinsย 
  • Collaborate with development teams to define automation coverage and improve testabilityย 
  • Build test tools for reporting, dashboards, and automated notificationsย 
  • Apply best practices to ensure thorough, reliable, and maintainable automationย 
  • Support and maintain test infrastructure and environmentsย 
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on automation best practicesย 

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCEย 

  • 5+ years in test automation, QA engineering, or SDET rolesย 
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python, Selenium, and API testing (e.g.: requests, pytest, or Postman)ย 
  • Experience working on a stack/product with hardware & software dependenciesย 
  • Practical understanding of testing principles, test case design, and QA best practicesย 
  • Proficiency with Jenkins for CI/CD and test pipeline integrationย 
  • Experience working against Docker environmentsย 
  • Strong command of Linux environments and Git workflowsย
