Description
SAIC has an immediate opening for a SharePoint Developer to maintain, upgrade, and develop as necessary a SharePoint site incorporating custom back-end JavaScript software. This system is critical to the daily execution of our customer's mission managing a configuration management (CM) library and automated CM workflow processes. The candidate must be comfortable developing custom pages and code and be able to act independently from use case identification through testing and delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Working with a team responsible for office governance and configuration management activities, the candidate will:
  • Maintain and upgrade an On-Premise SharePoint experience with customized web pages
  • Develop and maintain back-end code for custom web pages using JavaScript/JQuery and CSS
  • Perform software maintenance and minor upgrades to address user concerns and add user features when requirements arise
  • Perform testing and debugging ahead of software release to ensure no interruption to operations
  • Provide support, troubleshooting, and training to end users as necessary in use of system
  • Develop emerging team use cases into software as necessary
  • Maintain configuration control of software and provide release notes with each version
  • Execute occasional system overhaul and upgrade based on SharePoint upgrades to ensure compliance and no interruption to services
  • Track metrics demonstrating system usage reported to leadership on a monthly or as needed basis
  • Identify, communicate, and address risks related but not limited to pending changes in enterprise environment and software compatibility
  • Assist with the execution of customer governance activities for all office documentation

Qualifications
  • Must currently hold an active TS/SCI w/ poly to be considered
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other applicable field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency working in and developing a SharePoint environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency with JavaScript, JQuery and CSS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must interact with contractor and customer personnel on a daily basis to include senior personnel
  • Must be able to act independently with minimal oversight

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
