Job Summary


B&A is looking for a versatile SharePoint and Power Platform Developer. You will design, build, and deploy custom SPFx web parts while tightly integrating them with automated workflows and data analytics. The ideal candidate builds custom front-end interfaces and connects them seamlessly to Power Automate flows and Power BI dashboards to deliver end-to-end business solutions. While work is primarily remote, there likely will be occasional in person meetings.


Responsibilities

  • Custom Development: Design and build custom SPFx web parts and extensions using React, TypeScript, and Fluent UI.
  • Workflow Automation: Create and manage workflows using Power Automate to streamline processes across systems.
  • Data Visualization: Design, build, and embed interactive Power BI dashboards and reports directly within SharePoint environments.
  • System Integrations: Connect SharePoint and Power Platform solutions with external data sources, REST APIs, and Microsoft Graph API.
  • Environment Maintenance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of custom web parts, automated flows, and data refreshes.
  • Governance & Adoption: Implement permissions, security compliance, and governance for SharePoint and the Power Platform environment.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience building client-side components using the SharePoint Framework.

Required Skills

  • Proven hands-on experience building production-ready Power Automate flows and Power BI reports.
  • Deep understanding of modern web technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Strong development experience with ReactJS.
  • Solid understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, list/library design, and Microsoft 365 APIs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Strong willingness to support and collaborate with end users
  • Focus on incident resolution in timely manner and with high quality
  • Deep expertise in SharePoint environment
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Maintain and improve existing applications and workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the M365 environment.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and documentation for developed solutions.
