We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with deep technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform, specializing in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), Platform Integrations, and Discovery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing complex ServiceNow solutions. This role will involve leading overall platform implementation, driving innovation, ensuring system optimization, and designing solutions for platform delivery. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership skills to guide technical teams and business stakeholders.
Job Description:
As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for shaping the strategy, architecture, and delivery of the ServiceNow platform. You will lead the design of workflows, integrations, and modules, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions to deliver innovative solutions that align with organizational goals.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience with ServiceNow, including ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, SecOps, GRC, and TPRM modules.
  • Strong background in architecture and design of ServiceNow implementations, workflows, custom apps, and integrations.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering large-scale projects.

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide, etc.) and Service Portal technologies (HTML, CSS, AngularJS, SASS, Bootstrap).
  • Strong understanding of CMDB, Asset Management, Discovery, Portal, Incident, Problem, and Change Request Management.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and Spokes.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
  • Nice-to-have: Perl and Python programming in Linux environments.

Leadership & Communication
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor technical teams and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to business leaders.

Education/Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITAM, or similar).
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • ITIL v3/v4 certification is a plus.
  • Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is highly desirable.
