About the Role

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to support enterprise IT infrastructure for a pharmaceutical organization in Ayer, Massachusetts.

This position provides senior-level technical leadership across Windows infrastructure, networking, identity and access management, endpoint administration, cybersecurity, backup and disaster recovery. The role will also support infrastructure projects, vendor coordination, compliance activities, and technical guidance for other IT team members.

Occasional travel to Devens, Brockton, and other Massachusetts locations may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Windows Server, virtualization platforms, and network infrastructure.
  • Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Provide Tier 3 technical support and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
  • Manage enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and data protection systems.
  • Maintain system patching, firmware, software updates, and endpoint compliance.
  • Support network upgrades, migrations, cybersecurity initiatives, and infrastructure modernization projects.
  • Manage user accounts, access permissions, privileged access controls, and security policies.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support IT audit and compliance requirements.
  • Support business applications and coordinate technical escalations with vendors.
  • Coordinate managed-service providers and technology vendors.
  • Administer physical security systems, including cameras and access control.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to Systems Administrators and other IT personnel.
  • Support employee training and provide assistance with company IT systems.
  • Participate in planned maintenance, system changes, project cutovers, and critical incident response.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8–10+ years of systems administration experience, including senior-level enterprise infrastructure responsibility.
  • Advanced experience with Windows Server, virtualization, and networking.
  • Strong experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience managing enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with technical and business teams.

Schedule & Travel

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday.
  • Planned after-hours work may occasionally be required for critical outages, scheduled maintenance, system changes, and project cutovers.
  • Travel may be required between Ayer, Devens, Brockton, and other Massachusetts locations.
