Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.

Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you'll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.

Your Impact

As an Accounting Operations Sr. Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and complete financial reporting through the monthly close process, including GL consolidation and intercompany eliminations. You will work cross-functionally across Controllership, FP&A, and IT teams to support close activities, strengthen internal controls, and drive in-depth analytics over operating expenses. This role will also be instrumental in supporting the rollout of our new OneStream consolidation tool, partnering closely with the Financial Systems and Analytics team to help design, test, and adopt improved close and reporting processes. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys applying technical accounting expertise, analytical thinking, and collaboration to drive high-quality financial reporting.

Work Location

Hybrid Presence based in one of U.S. hubs: Boston, NY, Seattle, Scottsdale. This role follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.

What You'll Do
  • Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including GL consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and account reconciliations across multiple entities
  • Perform in-depth analytical reviews of operating expenses, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare and review flux analysis over the P&L and Balance Sheet, partnering with FP&A and business partners to explain key drivers of variance
  • Support the rollout and adoption of OneStream, including data validation, process design, and monthly close reviews within the new consolidation tool
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting Operations, Revenue Accounting, FP&A, and IT to ensure consolidated results are accurate, timely, and well-documented
  • Prepare and record journal entries related to consolidations, eliminations, and other close activities
  • Assist in strengthening internal controls throughout the close process, including execution of key SOX controls and documentation of procedures
  • Identify and drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements to reduce reliance on manual spreadsheets and improve close efficiency
  • Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation, reconciliations, and analysis
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed, including support for finance transformation initiatives
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
  • CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferred
  • 3-6+ years of accounting experience, with GL consolidation experience strongly preferred
  • Highly analytical, with strong experience performing flux and variance analysis over the P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Experience with consolidation and ERP tools; hands-on experience with OneStream, HFM, or similar consolidation platforms is a plus
  • Strong understanding of intercompany accounting and elimination processes in a multi-entity environment
  • Experience in a SaaS, technology, or multi-national environment is a plus
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, including FP&A, IT, and International Controllership teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving processes and systems
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with data analytics tools, Power BI, or reporting automation tools is a plus
  • Self-starter who can work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
  • Ability to influence, build consensus, and drive continuous improvement
Benefits that Benefit You
  • Competitive salary and 401k with employer match
  • Discretionary paid time off
  • Paid parental leave for all
  • Medical, Dental, Vision plans
