Job description

Job Title: Senior Infor XA / MAPICS Developer.
Location: Evans, GA (On-site).
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099).

About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking an experienced Senior Infor XA / MAPICS Developer to support manufacturing ERP applications for a global technology services organization and its manufacturing client in Evans, Georgia.
This is a hands-on development and support role requiring deep Infor ERP XA (MAPICS) expertise, IBM iSeries / AS400 experience, and advanced RPGLE skills. Candidates without substantial XA / MAPICS and RPGLE background will not be a fit.

What You’ll Do:
  • Design, develop, enhance, and support Infor ERP XA (MAPICS) applications in a manufacturing environment.
  • Develop and maintain programs on IBM iSeries / AS400 Power Systems using RPGLE, RPG, and CL.
  • Build and support web-services integrations using RPGXML.
  • Implement and support Infor ION integrations.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and deliver ERP enhancements with minimal disruption.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders on requirements, design, and delivery.
  • Support related manufacturing processes such as orders, inventory, and integration flows as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of application development and support experience.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Infor ERP XA (MAPICS).
  • Extensive experience with IBM iSeries / AS400 Power Systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in RPGLE, RPG, and CL.
  • Experience with web-services integrations using RPGXML.
  • Hands-on experience with Infor ION integrations.
  • Strong troubleshooting, development, and enhancement experience in ERP environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Evans, GA.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing industry experience (highly preferred).
  • Knowledge of Demand Planning and Forecasting solutions.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Understanding of Demand Management, BOM Management, and Item Revision processes.
  • Experience with EDI integrations, supplier/customer portals, and order management.
  • Exposure to financial reporting, inventory management, and cycle counting.
  • Knowledge of OBI concepts and enterprise data integrations.
