Summary of Duties:
  • Responsible for providing analytical support for the effective management and growth of CAF's portfolio, including voluntary protection products, originations and portfolio management functions.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of key business metrics and be willing and able to drive change as the business evolves.
  • Leverage data to develop a deep understanding of CAF's business operations and growth strategies. This may include analytical work within any of the following teams: credit originations, pricing, forecasting/modeling, product management, and servicing analytics.
  • Use database tools/software to extract key data, analyze trends, model predictive analytics and identify targeted areas for innovation and testing using a combination of statistical and database tools focus on the more complex areas of the business.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork by partnering effectively with others to meet common objectives; be able to lead cross-functional projects within the CAF organization.
  • Review and analyze existing business strategies and be prepared to recommend and implement new processes or strategies based upon the data/analysis.
  • Produce reports and analysis for monthly portfolio performance tracking and evaluation.
  • Coach and train more junior analysts.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering (any), Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business (any), or a related field of study AND Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Master's degree in Engineering (any), Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business (any), or a related field of study AND Two (2) years of experience, the employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business (any), or a related field of study AND Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must also have demonstrated experience with the following: Database systems and/or software packages (SAS and SQL); Accessing, manipulating, and interpreting data; Designing effective solutions to business problems; Microsoft Office; Data visualization systems (Tableau and PowerBI); Building complex predictive models; Python; Producing reports & analysis for monthly portfolio performance tracking & evaluation; Coach/train more junior analysts; and Recommending and implementing new strategies and processes based upon data and analysis.
